Speaking on Churchill Show last week, a remorseful Eric said that he first admitted to his wife that he had committed a terrible mistake and asked for forgiveness.
He continued to explain how his wife Sheeba Hirst stood by him, though she briefly moved out to give him time to reflect.
The two have since reconciled with Eric stating that his biggest lesson in a relationship is honesty.
