Prophet Owuor Reveals Why He Does Not Take Sadaka

Prophet David Owuor doesn’t take offering during his prayer meetings because the Lord provides for him. “When the Lord uses me as His vessel, and people are healed, and cripples walk, what would happen if I asked for offering just after God has healed somebody? People will give everything and do it emotionally. But asking for money, as I do the work of the Lord demeans the message I am trying to pass,” says Prophet Owuor passionately.

He says he has given his life to the Lord and if he wanted a soda, he can’t ask people who attend his rallies for it. “The Lord told me to serve him, and it is Him, who provides for me. The Lord can never let me go hungry, because He is the one who told me to stop everything I am doing and work for him. That’s why I don’t ask for offering from the congregation,” says Owuor.

Owuor’s diary is fully booked until April 2016. According to his schedule, the prophet will be travelling every month through the world, ministering the gospel in Ireland, Russia, India, Argentina, Zambia, UK, Germany, Slovakia, Canada, Australia, Italy, Chile, Belgium, South Korea, Brazil, parts of the USA and Africa.

A university don has stated that she was healed of HIV/Aids after she attended a prayer crusade presided by Prophet David Owuor. 54-year-old Dr Nancy Omronji testifies that she was healed of HIV/Aids after attending a crusade presided over by Prophet Owuor. “My lifestyle wasn’t clean and I got HIV,” says the mother of two. “I had HIV, and God took away my shame, I am not afraid or ashamed to say I was healed,” states the don.

She reveals that in 2006, she started suffering from frequent respiratory tract infections. “I developed rashes that could not respond to treatment, general weakness, frequent severe headache and fainting attacks.”

On April 20 of the same year, Dr Omronji decided to take a HIV test. The test was done by Dr Singo, a physician at Nakuru Medical Centre Laboratories using determine test and standard diagnostic (bio-line) method. The report confirmed her worst fears. She was positive of both HIV 1 and 2 strains.

Life lost meaning and as sickness progressed, she started preparing for death by selling off her investment. “I came back to my senses and turned to God. I heard from a friend that there is a prophet in the land, so I attended the prophet’s rallies,” says Omronji.

A symptom would disappear after each meeting when the Prophet of the Lord, prayed for the sick. After Kanduyi meeting, her skin rash disappeared. Jesus is Lord Radio At Kabarnet meeting in September 2006, the severe headaches ceased. After the 2007 June Nakuru meeting, she regained her strength. A thanksgiving service was called by Christian radio station, Jesus Is Lord Radio for all people healed of different ailments in these meetings.

On July 21, 2008 a confident Dr Omronji walked into Nakuru Medical Centre Laboratory and asked Dr Joseph Singo to re-examine her blood. He tested and retested several times not believing the results as Nancy had turned HIV Negative. He used the most thorough DNA PCR test. Dr Singo was so shocked that he received Jesus Christ in his life.

Dr Omronji availed to The Nairobian her medical records from all the top hospitals that confirmed that she is now HIV negative. The Nairobian also talked to Moses Kimani Ngige, a 42-year-old man from Molo who testified that he was healed of HIV during a crusade presided by prophet Owuor.

Kimani recalls that on May 11, 2010 he had gone to St Martin de Porres Dispensary for a HIV test that turned positive. He weighed 40.5kg
“The clinical officer then prescribed septrin and multi-vitamins before writing a referral letter to Molo District Hospital for my CD4 count and further management,” says Kimani.

Moses visited Molo District Hospital Comprehensive Care Clinic(C C.C) on May 12, the same year and his file 2397/10 was opened. He weighed 40.5kgs. Kimani says that he then heard of prophet Owuor and attended a prayer meeting at Nakuru show ground on May 30,2010 where the man of God singled out HIV/AIDs patients asking them to publicly raise up their hands and prayed for them.

Tests turned negative Kimani had just arrived to the meeting about 10 minutes before this special prayer was made. “The crowds were enormous and the Prophet then prayed for us. I trembled a lot during the prayer and felt fire all over my body,” says Kimani.

He obediently went back to his doctor and the tests turned negative. Contacted to corroborate the healings, Dr Catherine Wangui, former Deputy Director Medical Services at the Ministry of Health says she knew of the HIV cure after several people came to her for tests, which turned negative.

Dr Wangui adds that she started noticing drop in numbers of patients who were on government ARV programme. Later she realised they had been healed and were negative. “It beats science. I can’t explain what happened, we tested them again. They were healed of HIV. Some were in their death bed but they miraculously recovered,” says Wangoi who is now a lecturer at Egerton University.

Archbishop Paul Ojoro who also preaches with Prophet Owuor also provided The Nairobian with videos of Jeremiah Obicho healed on October 31, 2012 during Prophet Owuor’s rally in Kakamega. In the clip, a clearly disabled ten-year-old boy can be seen rising and ambling across the stage. He slowly walks before he gains balance, and one can clearly see the little boys deformity as he gains pace and starts walking all over the stage.

“The most recent miracle was in January 1, 2014 Kakamega revival in which a very well known Assistant Chief that had gone totally blind for close to a year, had his eyes pop open right in the full glare of the live cameras of KTN ‘s broadcast,” says Archbishop Ojoro.
