Safaricom Blocked All Lines Last Night for about 40mins without aprior notice

The government has threatened to sue any telecom company whose unregistered simcards were used by westagate terrorists therefore sending some CEOs into panic mode...Now Safaricom thought its better to atleast do something before the government gets them offguard ....at around 11 PM on Tuesday night, many Safaricom subscribers experienced difficulties making phone calls. This went on for over 40mins when service was restored for some users. Trying to make a call on a Safaricom line was met with a message that your line is not registered. This message was not selective, as even registered users reported experiencing the same.
This outrage is believed to have been caused by Safaricom trying to audit their subscribers.
