Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi also known as “Sonko” was at it again this time at the 8th Annual Groove Awards at the KICC.
The flashy senator was attending the awards ceremony and was particularly captivated by the Nyanza song of the year “Sonko wa Masoko” by Christine Atieno.
As the artist was making her remarks after receiving the award, Sonko walked from the crowd to the stage where he presented the artist with the money. The artists who looked a bit shaken later took to the mic as if to make a “clarification” saying that when she was making the song, she attributed God to being the “Sonko wa Masonko”.
