MR. GENEROUS: Senator Mike Sonko Promises To Buy 1,490 Tickets For Kenyan Fans To Watch Kenya-Nigeria Match

Senator Mike Sonko has promised to buy tickets to 1,490 Kenyan fans to attend the return leg match of the World Cup qualifiers between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Harambee stars which is scheduled for 5th June 2013 in Nairobi.

The much anticipated match which has Kenyans all tensed mostly because the Stars were defeated in the first leg and will be missing key players Arnold Origi and Dennis Oliech who had been earlier suspended because of fouls.

This is a great move by Mike ‘Sankaaw’ who is mostly popular because of his generous acts and great support for average Kenyan Citizens. it is not only patriotic but will go a great length to boost the team’s morale and also foster moral support for the national team from the crowd. This will come in handy especially after the saga that saw the Kenyan Team mistreated in Nigeria soil when they went to play in Nigeria early this year. It was claimed that they were accommodated in a sub-standard hotel with no training ground; an action that made Kenyans really bitter and even stirred social media wars between the two countries. We can only hope that our boys will have the last laugh…..
Go Harambee Stars!
