Ex-Mungiki leader Maina Njenga has praised Justice Joseph Mutava for acquitting businessman Kamlesh Pattni of the Goldenberg charges. “I am happy my co-chairman was relieved of the burden he bore for many years. There is power in the name of Jesus,” said Njenga. He said Pattni will be able to attend church without interruptions.
The civil society and LSK have, however, faulted Justice Mutava for dismissing the case because it took a long time without considering its magnitude.
Njenga said his church is planning a major reception of Pattni at his Hope International Ministry on Sunday. ”It does not matter how long one has suffered under the hands of the devil. God heard our prayers for Brother Paul Pattni,” he said.
Njenga was speaking during a sermon at Hope International Ministry in Kasarani yesterday where he distributed bibles to members.
