Raila Odinga, the former Kenya Prime Minister and Cord leader returned to the country on Wednesday night after a three-day visit to South Africa.
Raila left for Africa a few days prior to the April 9th inauguration ceremony and was followed shortly afterwards by immediate former Vice President and Cord running mate Kalonzo Musyoka and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula. The three missed the inauguration ceremony.
“We took a break to relax our minds in South Africa, we are now back and ready to engage with everybody in the quest to build our Nation,” said Raila on arriving at JKIA. "We are full of energy and ready to take up our role as the Official Opposition... we shall engage the government constructively for the benefit of all Kenyans all the time," added Raila.
