Former Head of Civil Service Francis Muthaura has expressed confidence that charges against the remaining International Criminal Law suspects including the President elect Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto will also be dropped.
Speaking during a thanksgiving ceremony at his house, Muthaura said that his personal assessment of the three cases pursued by ICC prosecutor Fatou Bensouda, was that the evidence may not be as watertight. Former Anti-Corruption Commission Director Aaron Ringera stated that ratifying the Rome Statute into the Kenyan Law was regrettable. Sylvia Chebet reports.
