All 47 governors who will be the chief executives pf counties are to be sworn in today. The vows are to be presided by High Court judges at designated municipal, county and city grounds so the public can witness the historic occasion.
Leaders of county governments will go through an induction workshop at the Great Rift Valley Lodge in Naivasha from next week. They are to be trained on their new roles.
The training is supposed to cover legislation and structure of the devolved system, interface between counties and the national government, role of county executives and county assemblies.
