Eagle Coalition leader Peter Kenneth said Thursday he has "retreated to private life" after his failed bid for the presidency in the March 4 General Election.
In his Easter message to Kenyans, Mr Kenneth said he was glad that “we have now gone back to work after the very involving campaign and election period".
“In the last two weeks, I have settled back to privatelife and continue doing my part to move our country forward,” Mr Kenneth said in an email message to his supporters.
“Mine remains a quest to make Kenya better and we all must continue playing our part wherever we are.”
Mr Kenneth said he treasured the moments “that we have shared over the last months as we geared towards the campaign.”
“I hope that we can stay in touch as we go forward,” Mr Kenneth said.
The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) ranked Mr Kenneth fourth in the election that has been disputed in court.
