Immediate former Makadara MP Mike "Sonko" Mbuvi of TNAemrged the winner becoming Nairobi’s first senator. Mbuvi won with 808,705 votes, followed by Housing assistant minister and immediate former Starehe MP MargaretWanjiru of ODM who garnered 525,8222 votes. Stanley Livondo of UDF was third with 19,287 votes.
Rachel Shebesh of TNA a close friend of "Sonko" emerged the winner of Nairobi Women’s Representative seat. Shebesh, a former nominated MP, won with 626,287 votes, followed by Syvia Mingala who garnered 323,332 votes and Esther Passaris with 289,292 votes.
Congrats are in order and we wish them the best as Nairobians eagerly awaits their services.
