Prime Minister Raila Odinga has sensationally stated that Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta is clean on land issue since he only inherited from his father, President Jomo Kenyatta.
In a heated Presidential Debate at Brookside International School on Monday evening, Raila defended Uhuru on the land debate when he said Uhuru is just a beneficiary of Jomo Kenyatta’s vast assets.
Raila who had been preaching on how Kenyatta’s family owns half of Kenya during his Presidential campaigns, shocked many Kenyans when he took a soft stand and said Uhuru ,who is Jubilee coalition Presidential flagbearer, is clean on land issue.
Raila, who is also the CORD Presidential candidate, said once he assumes office on March 5th, he will deal with land issues effectively through the Independent National Land Commission which was recently gazetted by President Mwai Kibaki.
