Predictably, the Retirement Benefits Bill awarding MPs a hefty send-off package, was amended by a handful of members of parliament on Wednesday night. What you may not have seen is the actual amendment bill itself, an untidy handwritten piece of legislation, which will cost the taxpayer billions of shillings if the president signs it into law.
