Free and fair
“The elections have been free and fair and I am satisfied with the outcome,” said Renge. Zonga got 873 votes against Renge’s 2,525.
In the senatorial race, former Matuga MP and one time Kanu Chief Whip Boy Juma Boy had an easy ride over newcomer Nicholas Zani. Boy Juma, who will be directing his guns at Environment Minister Chirau Ali Mwakwere who got a URP ticket unopposed for the same seat, got 15,066 while Zani got 4,526.
