In a statement sent to press rooms on Sunday, the association which consists of 17 Muslim organisations in the country said they will campaign for Jubilee supremo Uhuru Kenyatta, since ODM party leader and Prime Minister Raila Odinga shortchanged them in 2007.
The group also said they will never trust Raila’s promises, since he promised them “heaven” in year 2007 but nothing came from him even after he was offered a share of the central government.
They said Raila Odinga betrayed them in year 2007, saying Muslims in the country cannot repeat the mistake they did in year 2007.
The association urged all Muslims in the country to support the Jubilee alliance, since it is the government in waiting.
