Arsenal have reportedly been offered the opportunity to sing Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama, who has also been linked with with a transfer to Manchester United.Wanyama is establishing himself as one of the finest players in Scottish football and, according to The Times, Arsenal have been approached about a proposed move for the Kenya international.
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is also reported to be looking at Wanyama, 21, although Arsenal, it would appear, are ahead of their Premier League rivals in the race to sign the highly-rated Celtic star.
It is unclear if Arsenal are willing to look into a possible transfer for Wanyama, who has also reportedly been offered to other Premier League clubs - of which Manchester United do not seem to be one.
