Nairobi Half Life Director Interviewed on a Top American Station

David 'Tosh' Gitongo the Director of 'Nairobi Half Life' movie with some of the cast members during its premiere show at the Westgate Cinemas on 30th August 2012.

Nairobi Half Life has been one of the few Kenyan films that have spread out not only in our continent but beyond. It is enjoying a whole month of screenings throughout Germany. The film is about a young aspiring actor from the upcountry who dreams of becoming a success in the big city. 

The film has toured the International film circuit including the AFI Festival where it picked up an audience award, just as it did at the Film Africa Festival in London.

It has also been featured on one of the top radio stations in the U.S., National Public Radio, popularly known as NPR. The interview with the director, Tosh Gitonga, was published on the Art & Life section of the station's site. You can listen to NPR's John Burnett interviewing Tosh Gitonga here.
