Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi has launched a scathing jab to Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and Eldoret North MP William Ruto by saying Kenyans should not elect the two to be their President in the forthcoming general election.
Mudavadi said Kenya is a signatory of Rome Statute and the two should respect the international law by shelving their ambitions to lead the country.
He urged them to first clear their names at the International Criminal Court (ICC) saying there is no way a country can be governed by ICC bound president.
Mudavadi was speaking as he concluded his four day campaign tour in Eldoret town with a call to Kenyans to vote wisely in the coming general election.
“Some leaders are preparing voters to vote for protest of ICC. Lets us keenly vet our leaders according to their development and integrity records. We should also desist from protest voting,” Mudavadi said.
