The First Lady Mama Lucy Kibaki has condemned in the strongest terms possible the attack on St. Polycarp ACK Church in Nairobi.
The First Lady termed the attack as a cowardly act on innocent children.
She condoled the family of the 9 year old Master Ian John Muya and wished the injured children quick recovery.
The First Lady said the attack was a reminder on the need for Kenyans to remain vigilant against agents of terror, following the success of KDF and Amisom Forces in Somalia.
In a statement she issued from her State House Nairobi office, the First Lady appealed to Kenyans not to agree to be divided along religious lines, noting that the fight against terrorism was a universal fight against fundamentalist and extremist agents.
She advised Kenyans to work closely with security officials in order to enhance security around the country.
