Reports reaching the Kenyan DAILY POST indicate that there has been a fire drill at Development House along Moi Avenue. The drill involved the use of fire engines and other medical emergency personnel. The drill has been widely reported by some media houses who at the time jumped to the conclusion that it was an actual fire. At the time there were even reports that there had been an explosion in the building.
The people in charge of the fire drill have apologized for any distress or alarm caused. They said the drill was carried out to ‘test the level of disaster preparedness’.
