SHOCKING: FRED GUMO stole ANOTHER CAR belonging to retired President MOI

Barely a day after Regional Development Minister Fred Gumo was caught with former President Moi’s stolen Range Rover, new details have emerged that in 2004 he stole a Volkswagen Combi belonging to the former Head of State.

Police sources revealed on Sunday that the Volkswagen Combi registration KAE 145 K, was detained at Industrial Area Police Station after Gumo who is also the Westlands MP, failed to present a logbook before the Police could release the car to him.

On his argument, the fiery ODM Minister said Moi had given him the car as a gift.

“We asked him to produce a logbook or a letter showing that Moi had given him the Combi. He did not. That is why the car is still parked at the yard and the investigation file has never been closed,” a police officer attached to the case said.

On Friday, Gumo was caught up with Moi’s Sh 18 million, state of the art Range Rover, which was stolen in year 2008 at CMC garage in Industrial Area.

Police said Gumo will be charged with handling stolen goods once investigations are complete.
