Cases of domestic violence have been on the rise in recent days having taken center- stage in media headlines. Just a week ago a video surfaced online of a man beating his 6-months pregnant wife almost causing her a second miscarriage.
According to reports, a man by the name Salim Kiprono Serem is on the run after battering his wife to death. Autopsy results revealed that Sharon Muthoni (the late wife) had died as a result of continous beating that caused internal injuries on major organs. Her heart, brain, liver and spinal-cord had blood clots.
The husband is said to have gone into hiding after killing her and is still at large.
