Death Toll in Mombasa Riots Rises to Four

The death toll in Mombasa riots has risen to four, with seven more being treated for injuries at Coast General Hospital. Police also report the arrested of 24 rioters.

The rioting Muslim youths also burned down a Salvation Army church in the Kisauni area of Mombasa Mombasa. Several cars have also been overturned and shops stoned in the Majengo and Kisauni areas.

The youths are protesting the killing of Muslim cleric Sheikh Ibrahim and four others by unknown assailants earlier Friday.
