The biggest of the secrets of Mutula’s could be the fathering of his alleged 8th child with 23 year old Eunice Nthenya. Miss Eunice who came out after having sent letters to Mutula’s wife and received no response alleges that she was in a relationship with the senator between 2005 and 2008. Now, that may be an issue but not for us, it is up to the court and the DNA test to seek the truth. What seems to be rather public is the possibility that this was actually true and the fact that if the facts by Miss Nthenya are anything to go by, she was only 15 when she conceived the child who is now 7 years old.
Now the late Mutula Kilonzo was a minister of Justice who eventually ended up the minister of education. This is really the center of the debate. How could it be that a person granted such responsibility would even think of having an affair with a minor? This is the point you keep hoping for the sake of our kids that this ends up being on of the many made up stories because it would indeed be a sad thing.
On that point, I think it would be key for our government officials to have their personal lives vetted and in public to avoid such mishaps.
