The prosecution at the International Criminal Court(ICC) today suffered another huge blow after another witness against Deputy President William Ruto and journalist Joshua arap Sang withdrew from the case.
The witness withdrew with only days left to the May 14, 2013 status conference for the Ruto and Sang case. The “crucial” witness was one of five recruited recently by the Fatou Bensouda-led prosecution team to testify against Ruto. The witness joins a list of 13 witnesses who have refused to testify against Uhuru, Ruto and Sang at the Hague-based court.
