Retired President Moi's Sons Win Political Races




Gideon and Raymond Moi

Two of retired president Moi's sons have been elected to office. Gideon Moi won the Baringo Senatorial seat on a KANU ticket against URP's Bishop Jackson Kosgey. He previously served as MP for Baringo Central constituency from 2007 to 2007.
Raymond Moi clinched the Rongai constituency MP seat also on a KANU ticket with 16,828 votes, beating URP's Luka Kigen who had 8,215 votes.
