RAILA Odinga in deep TROUBLE from MUDAVADI’s camp

Monday October 15, 2012-Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi’s allies have written to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) requesting them to punish Prime Minister Raila Odinga for violating Elections Act 2011.

Mudavadi’s Communications Director Kibisu Kabatesi on Sunday asked the commission to take action against the PM for donating computers for a secondary school in Sabatia constituency a week ago, contrary to the Election law.

He said the PM overlooked Section 26 of the Elections Act that bars aspirants from taking part in harambees or making donations eight months before election.

He urged the commission to punish the PM so that he can serve as an example to other presidential hopefuls.

Kibisu said it is shame for a person who claims to a “true reformer” to break the Election law in broad daylight.
