Eldoret North MP William Ruto has dismissed calls for him to either go back to the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) or become the Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s running mate, saying his Presidential bid was driven by strong desire to serve Kenyans.

Speaking in Narok during his ongoing presidential rallies on Wednesday, Ruto said he will not enter into coalition with Prime Minister Raila Odinga or ODM party.

Mr Ruto who is the United Republican Party (URP) Presidential hopeful, however said the talks were ongoing between him and Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta who they share the same ideology.

“I am talking with like minded Presidential aspirants; with performers who are focused and are ready to turn around the lives of Kenyans,” Ruto said.

“Tell ODM leaders, that I am not available. I have moved on, I am engaging politicians who share the same ideals that I hold dearly,”Ruto added.

Ruto urged Kenyans to be patient because after the March general election, their livelihoods will improve.

“I’m confident that that Kenyans will vote for visionary leaders. The polls will be a contest between the so called reformers who just talk and do nothing and performers who are committed to service delivery,” he said.
